What do you do with a new tractor? How about:

Spread some gravel near the house
Spread some sand near the barn
Grab some firewood from a windfall
Bust up a dirt bike berm
Scrape the snow and ice from the neighborhood road
Stir up the compost pile and add some leaves.

Looks like a pretty full, fun filled day. The heavy rains here have mine in the shed.

It looks funny seeing you work dirt in snow like that. Around here once the snow flies the ground freezes up and you're done playing, I mean working, in it until after mud season in the spring. Just don't forget that's your wife's tractor and you are merely a hired hand to operate it for her.

yeah, we've got a Gromore vertical hyd log splitter that mounts on the 3PH, a crappy 60" bush-hog clone whose super power is to find large rocks and whang them around inside its deck, a rear blade (light and cheap--would like to hear from folks with heavy hydraulic ones), chain harrow (not much use since there's no frame to lift it off the ground--like when you need to turn around and don't want to drag it over a spot). My neighbor with the 5240 has a simple rock rake and auger which I can borrow whenever I want and a Wallenstein 6" chipper which I can often talk him out of
