4269250M91 block heater
took me about 35 minutes, longest part was getting air out of cooling system. I used a 5/16 drill to score (NOT drill through-important do not want shavings in block) and create a weak spot on the block plug. smacked it with flat chisel to bend and rotate it, used flat screwdriver to rotate it out. took 5 minutes. I had already cleaned the 2 bolt holes on block and ran bolt in and out of both.
wiped out the plug hole put little rtv behind the oring on block heater used a socket to tap into place and ran the bolt in. I used the rear bolt (GC2400 did NOT have a ground bolt there on front) for now as I will be getting another bolt to fill the unused hole.
filled coolant ran it until hot, let it cool and checked it. no leaks.
tomorrow morning will be below freezing here so I will plug it in for a few then look at gauge and feel hoses/rad when starting to see if working.
I orientated it with plug UP to clear the oil filter, was a little tricky getting plug attached and screwed in due to angles.
