430 or 455 Which is better?

I know the 455 is a new tractor, but is it better? The tires on the rear are smaller, but is that better? The 455 has 2 more HP than the 430. I'm guessing parts are more available. Which is easier to maintain?

Id take the 430 any day of the week, presuming it had been well maintained.

Toss up, if both are in the same condition. But I would take my 455 in a pinch.

Because you have the 430, I'd go with it.

The reason I brought up the question is because I it seems like there are more parts available for the 455, and possible a little cheaper. CTC makes a FEL for the 455. They will custom build me one for the 430.

Personally I would take the 430 just for the looks of the older machines.

430 is a diesel too.

On the foot controls, once you set the speed with the 430 you can let go. meaning it has cruise control that doesn't require extra steps to use.

The foot controls on the 455 will make it easier to operate, but thats to each his/her own choice. The looks of the 430 are classic. IMO, the 430 is becoming a collectors tractor, and they will increase in value if in good condition.
