Grading 4300 + 6 foot land pride box blade?

Hello. I have a 4300. A personal friend who happens to be an implement dealer wants to sell me a new but weather worn land pride 6' box blade for 300 bucks. I guess no one wants it since their paint kinda sucks. Sounds like a steal to me. Do I have enough tractor?

I have a 5 1/2' king kutter, my 4300 plays with it. I've been pricing a new 6' LP-BB 2572 $635. If you pass this deal and it's the same model # let me know and I'll buy it!

Its not rusted out or anything but there's a little on the edges. I'm pretty sure its been sitting on his lot for 2-3 years. Mostly just oxidized paint and stickers with scrapes etc.

That 4300 should handle it just fine Flatlander and as others have said you're getting a really good deal.

I sold my 7' rear blade, {L&S out of TN-no name}, great condition for $230...

I have a JD 870 (slightly less HP than a 4300) and a 5 1/2 foot no name box blade that I've put about 30 hours on. I do have to be careful running with the scarifiers full down. The tractor can lose traction when the box fills up and the scarfiers are digging in. I paid $310 for the blade and $90 for shipping. You should snap that puppy up and become a member of the box blade brigade/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I have a 2000 JD 4300 with a Hineker 6' box blade. It works great with the 4300. I paid $620 for my blade. Dealer had a 5' used blade for $500. Get the blade!
