Is there a way to use the pto for stationery equipment, such as a 3 point splitter with out someone sitting on the seat.
My other question is down by my right foot is a three position lever, lock-open book - unlocked. What is this lever for, I have never used it.

That lever is to lock the joy stick so it cannot be inadvertently moved. Nothing to do with the PTO.

Operators manual will tell how to use the pto when off the seat. I believe put in neutral, park brake on, and maybe a particular order of when to engage PTO.

The way I do it, is to put a jumper wire in the 2-wire coupler that gives a connection as if someone is always in the seat. You take on some responsibility for other things if you do this.

My 4310 you had to put it in neutral, lock the park brake, then you turn on the pto, this was an Ehydro model.
This also will only work with the rear PTO.

As above, plus you can put a heavy bag of feed/fertiliser/cement/etc... in the seat.

Thank you guys, I looked it up in KenneyD 's owners manual link and if you follow the exact order it says it will work. Now if I can remember how when I buy some attachments.
