Hello all,
I'm looking to hear from anyone if they have a 72" rear mount snow blower on their 4300 or even newer 32 hp tractors I have a 200 4300HST and about 500+ feet of driveway. I'm taking the plow off the truck. This is just a thought. Plus the driveway is all stone and I'm in the woods. I'm aware of the stones will get thrown in the woods but its better then grading the driveway with the 800lb plow. its very difficult even with the shoes on the plow to not dig up the driveway. Thanks! -Paul

I'd think the 4300 would handle it quite well..

Alternatively, I added a 7' Western plow on the front, building a quick-attach hitch so the plow was close to the front of the tractor. Works very well, and fine with gravel drive if the stones can be firmly packed (realize some don't have that luxury and the gravel is continually loose and not packable ).

Pic of my plow setup on the 4300...

I have 4300 with 64" rear mount Frontier snow blower. Works fine but you need to be careful not to get large objects (stones, limbs, etc.) in it.

I have one on my 4600, for about 10 years now.

It all depends on your snow. How deep is it? Are you light and fluffy or heavy and wet? Has it just fallen? Or was is blown in and now nicely packed?

I deal with all of the above. My 4600 handles all of it but how fast I can go depends upon the above.

I've only broken 1 shear pin 10 years when I tried to back into a pile of snow a little too fast that had thawed and refroze.

@ rekees4300 nice setup, I would like to do that with my fisher 8' but not going to happen. @virtualtractor, we have everything here in Northern New Haven ct. I'm thinking low gear is best bet. and tilted up so stones don't get in there.

My 60" blower hasn't been installed in years, not since I added a plow to the FEL.
