We have our place up for sale and might move from our 10 acres NE Oregon to a house (in town) in Iowa. This would mean quite a few changes and of course, selling the tractor. It is a 2004 eHydro with 450 hours, 430 FEL, 48 BH and Frontier RB1072 rear blade. All of it is in great shape and serviced routinely. I have done some searching and the prices are all over the board. I was thinking $23,000-$25,000 for all of it. Am I in the ball park or am I too high?

Thanks

Tom

Tom,
I am looking at trading my 4310 with 48 hoe on a 110TLB most of the dealers are in the 17,000.00-20,000.00 range . Now they are discounting the 110TLB at a nice price also. The 48 hoe is in the $4500.00 trade value range. Every dealer shows #s differant but the bottom line out the door has been the same. Hope this helps, I hate to see anybody move back in town give up space and a tractor . Wish you luck .

I would think that you are in the range, maybe a bit high, but better to start high than start low imho. As with any sale, it just takes one buyer who falls in love with your machine, make sure it is clean when you show it.

Local market conditions may put a different slant on this however, having just been to the market place I'd suggest a person could purchase a new 3320 eHydro, 448 BH, 300CX FEL, RB1072 for + or - $26,500. To me the suggested range sounds high. Another factor would be if you have options not mentioned that add extra value to your unit and not factored into the above new pricing.

The 110TLB is a great machine and I would love to own one. If we can find a place with some property, I would keep the tractor. In town, it just wouldn't fit. I would look crazy taking my trash cans to the curb with a tractor... .

Even at $20,000 or below, I would be ahead as I bought it used (24 hours on it) for $15,000. The wife wants to put the money towards a 64-65 Mustang convertible. She said it is "her turn" to own a toy that she wants.

That sounds pretty cheap. New, not used, not a dealer demo? I thought these were in the $30,000+ range. Is JD dealing everywhere with prices like this or is this a one time deal?

Brand new. Based on JD configurator price less 15%. The 3320 with eHydro, R4's, 300CX has MSRP of $30,726. With 15% off I rounded that to $26,000 and added $500 for the RB.

Quite a few posters have reported deals equal to or better than 15% off.

Where is the 15% discount coming from? Is that a JD Corporate discount or something your local JD dealer offers? The two JD dealers, within our 100 mile radius, don't discount. I needed to replace a cutting edge for my Frontier RB1072 and started searching on the internet. I couldn't find a cutting edge anywhere but found the entire RBs for around $500 online. When I contacted my JD dealer, I had to pay $125 just for the cutting edge. I was curious and asked what they sold the Frontier RB1072s for and was given a price of $875, no discount.
