My 4310 HST vibrates excessively above 2200 RPM. The Dealer and Factory Rep agree, but refuse to correct it. Now the Hydro is very jerky also in the higher RPM's.Hydro does not engage until petal is fully deprssed. Fluids are OK,external linkage is OK. Tractor has 220 hours on it. HELP

Jerry, let me get this straight--Both the dealer and the rep agree it vibrates in excess and wont do anything about it. Something is wrong with this picture. What type of vibration is it? Does the engine sound rough or smoke at all? Have you changed all the fluids at the recomended intervials? Lastly what do you consider excess?

I have the same machine L4310 HST 4wd with about 250 hours. I have never had any significant vibration or the jerky behavior of the HST you describe. The HST is very smooth through out the pedals range of motion.
If the you, the dealer, and the Factory rep all agree that the symptoms are not normal, I would recomend getting a little more out spoken. The dealer should not object to you driving a simmiliar machine on his lot for a comparison. Better yet, try to drive them side by side with the same loads. 200hours is just getting broken in. It should still feel the same as new...
I do get a buz/rattle in the folding rops hinge area >2000RPM which is anoying, but no so anoying that I have done anything about it.

Jerry,Is your tractor still under warranty?If so,I would raise a BIG STINK until Kubota did something to fix it.Try to find out who the Sales and Service reps are for your area,write letters,send e-mails,do what ever it takes to get something going on this.I've been considering trading up to a 4310,so I would be interested in hearing what the outcome of this problem is.Remember,the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
