So I have this issue where my 4310 eHydro wont start with the key generally, but intermittently it will. It will not stay running if you get off the seat like it should.
It almost acts exactly as if it thinks the PTO is engaged but it is not, and the dash indicator is off as should be. The reason I think this is because I can sit on the seat sometimes and push and pull the PTO switch and it will SOMETIMES start up. I have replaced both PTO switches with new.
So, I can engage the seat safety switch and jumper the starter and make it run, and it moves and will operate as it should, but if I get off the seat it dies immediately. Doesn't matter if PTO is engaged or not, but the PTO does engage and operate as normal.
I have bypassed the neutral switch in troubleshooting and it makes no difference.
Is there some PTO safety switch that could be causing this and where would I find it?
