Hello,

Doing some rear end cleaning and came across another "mystery wire" tucked away under the wiring harness. Does anyone know what it connects to, or what's it used for . . . any ideas would be appreciated.

It is the bullet male connector resting on top of the protective wire shield.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Give us some feedback if it's a ground, or if it has 12v ?

Then if 12v, if it is 12v when ignition key is on (or not). And then if some other switch is on or off.. Should be able to trace what it may or may not be connected to in the system.
If 12v, should be protected, so doubt it is that.

JD uses bullet connectors for their worklight circuits, a black and a purple wire-keep digging and you may find the purple one.

That wire is loose on mine also and has continuity to ground. I found a female bullet connector in the same bundle that also isn't used. All of my lights, flashers, and signals work so I say it was for some option we don't have. On the other side of my lift I have a two wire connector that is terminated with a plug that looks like it has wires snipped off. I am assuming it may go to the trailer option.
