I was at the dealer looking at 4310 and 4410, picked up the new book on 4000 ten tractors and after looking it over the 4410 looks like the tractor I will buy. A big reason is the engine torque at rated speed.
4310 gross HP 32 Torque 73.1ft.lb
4410 Gross HP 35 Torque 81 ft.lb
4710 Gross HP 48 Torque 86.3

If the book is correct the only tractor that has more torque than a 4410 is the 4710. I did not drive a 4310 but was very impressed with power of the 4410 vs a 41hp of another brand that I have looked at.

I need the Pros & Cons of e-hydro vs e-power reverser

Thanks for the help.

Buck, I have found with my tractor that after about 2000 RPM, there is no need to go any higher to add pulling power, its not any higher above that. I like having most all of my torque below 2000RPM. Its the area I use most frequently since it is so quiet at this RPM. This is important with HST since you set it and forget it for the most part. The power reverser (analogus to shuttle shift) is a fantastic improvement over the clutch/ gear arrangement. I personally like hydrostatic (HST) the best, it has optimal mobility over any other transmission, smooth starts and stops, instant F to R, R to F, automatically brakes and is super simple. Your needs may not require this especially if your pulling an implement that is speed critical, governed by geostationary GPS satelites and require a couple more HP's to the PTO. (some of that was a joke). I've not tried the new JD HST but hear it is better then the old series of tractors, Rat...

eHydro is 4x10 series equivalent of 4x00 series HST. Both hydrostatic, foot pedals on the floor. eHydro has more of a feather touch control. You won't have to depress pedal as hard to move from stopped position...but converse is also true...eHydro tends to take longer to come to rolling stop than HST. This causes one to want to brake more.

ePowerReverser completely different tranny. It's a clutchless tranny that you shift on left hand side of the steering column.

eHydro is much better if you're thinking about a lot of loader work with repetitive backward/forward motions. ePowerReverser better if you're doing tasks like bush hogging, plowing, haying where you'll be going in constant direction with little change.

Price also is a biggie...eHydro will set you back by another $1K on average over the ePowerReverser.
