I have just gotten my tractor back from the dealer, after having the 50 hr service done. They changed the engine oil and the filters for the engine and hydraulics. I thought they would change ALL the fluids like the manual states.... they did not... anyway I want to do the rest of the work myself. I am having trouble finding the drain and fill ports on the the rear axle. The directions in my manual do not match what I am seeing on my tractor. I do have what I believe to be drain plugs on the bottom of each rear axle but I do not see the inlets. I do have two large nuts on the back of each side with white paint on them. Are they the check and fill spots? Again this is a new 4340 cab model. I have read the posting for the 5740's but I think things are different on my tractor....
Thanks....
PS. I love this tractor and think it is a good machine, but if I would have known that there was no manual.... well... I hope I have not made a BIG mistake!!!
