4400 3 pt won\'t stay up
Dr. Deere or anyone else that has had this problem--seems like it has been mentioned before, but could not locate the thread. This is my second 4400 HST and it has been flawless in operation until yesterday when it reached 50 hours. After 10 hours of loader and boxblade work yesterday, the rear blade will not stay up for more than 15 minutes after the tractor has been turned off. Until now, the rear blade would stay up for two weeks with bleeding down. While the tractor is running, the blade will drop an inch and there is a hissing sound and the rear blade goes back up and a few seconds later it drops an inch and the hissing sound comes back. It has 50 hours on the meter, so it is time for me to change hydro fluid, filter, clean the suction screen and the small screen beneath the seat. It is my hope that it is not serious enough to have to split this tractor apart like happened to my previous 4400. Otherwise, this 4400HST is great--this is its first little problem! Any thoughts on this little problem???
