I'm lookin for information on a fitting that is screwed into the pressure side of the hydraulic pump on my JD 4440. It looks like an elbow with a threaded piece sweated into the side. A 1" wrench fits the fitting. But there isn't enough room to turn it. So any ideas on that would be great also. I will probly just go to my local dealer to get to the bottom of this. I'm just curious if anyone else has had this problem or where to get the fittings.

We sell tons of hydraulic fittings, but I haven't seen anything like what I think you're describing. If you can show us a picture of it, maybe that will help.

Sounds like a John Deere only fitting. JD does this quite a bit. They make you run back to the dealer for it. I've seen it loads of times with crimp fittings too. They will make a special crimp fitting with an extended length or a funny angle that you can only get through the dealer. One reason I would never own a JD newer than a model 50.
