I broke the fuel filter bowl. I could not find in my manuals the procedure to bleed the line after it is fixed. Also how much torque is the flange given when tightening?

The torque is hard to say, I usually tighten it by hand and then just a little snug with channel locs. When bleeding the line be sure the fuel bowl is full, then above the injection pump there is a little valve with about a 1/2 to 3/4" diameter knob, open that valve, start the tractor , and after it is running smooth close that valve. That should get the job done.

To lawallstractor: That worked well. It is up and running although still too warm. Maybe I will have to relocate the battery etc. Thanks
