It worked just 2 weeks ago, I go through the sequence, led's on on/off button on and little led in panel shows it turning, lever up, but wont turn. I checked the safety switch its find, tonight will check the clutch limit switch. Does it have a solenoid or something that engages it, I'm still studying the book,
Thanks:confused:

Is the mechanical shifter under the left side of the seat in gear? Most likely the problem is a stuck enguagement solenoid. It is located under the Rt foot panel. It looks like a square box coming off of the side of the transmission housing. On the rear side of it you will see the electric solonoid, make sure it is plugged in to the pigtail off of the wiring harness and it is getting a good ground on the ground screw, and last on the front side of the block there are 2 hex head plugs, remove the top one and becareful that you don't lose the spring inside the hole. Take a small screwdriver and push the solonoid back in the hole and spray some penetrant in there, put the spring and cap back and your PTO will probably operate. If not let us know.

Thanks, well last night did find the solenoid and un hook the hot wire, put meter across it , it showed 14vdc going to the solenoid everytime it should through all the sequences. So I knew the complete circuit was working, hooked back up the solenoid. In the back of my mind remembered pushing down on the differential lever two weeks ago after I had used the bushhog, and notice when I was underneath last night it was right across from where the PTO lever connects to the rear end. So I gave it a couple of pushes, went to the back and PTO shaft was spinning? I don't know this had anything to do with it, but most likely what you said the solenoid was stuck and for how ever it got unstuck beats me, Thanks very much for your response..
