I am having a problem with the tranny on my 4514. If I'm on a flat area the thing does really well, but it will not pull a hill, even a small one. I've been told that I should check the fluid and bleed out the air. The fluid looks fine and is the right level, but I can't see any way to bleed the air. Can anyone walk me through it? I don't have a service manual for it because I bought it used. I've also been told that there really isn't anything in the tranny that should go bad. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Tom,

I have a manual and checked it last evening to see what it takes to bleed the air and it is not complicated but quite involved with specific steps to achieve the goal. There are other issues that could be causing your problem too and the manual goes into detail about them. I have no way to get you copies or files so I would suggest you look for a used manual on Ebay or something of the sort. They are only about 40 bucks or so and are a handy thing to have.

Again, sorry I have no way to get you the information you need, but the manual is worth the $$$$.
