4520 power reverser does not go out of 4 whl. drive

Noticed the lever for 2 whl. or 4 whl. drive light is correct but tractor remains in 4 whl. drive.
Has any one else had this problem and how to fix. Or suggestions of what to look for to fix.

Checked under the tractor and shaft into transmission looks like it is shifting .

Seldom get onto a road and almost always have a load on FEL.

I was thinking sheared roll pin, lever to trans shaft, but you say the shaft is moving.

Zebrafive will relook it sure doesn't hurt . Tractor is clean and sitting on level pad .

O'k the 2 whl /4 whl.lever is working the roll pin is in place .
lever moves the shaft into the transmission.
Now after disconnecting the elec. plug checking the roll pin and reconnecting the elec. plug . tractor dash lights have quit . crawled back under and dis connected the plug and same condition no dash and fuel or started relay. does not click when key is turned.
Put on a battery charger and very low current used so battery is fully charged.
Now need more suggestions on what to look for.
After lunch will check fuses so 4 hours wasted because of some safety device is locking out the key switch or console display.

Seems every solution in book is "call Dealer"

So as to not leave a post with unanswered questions . Found the sensor was bad and main 30 amp fuse blown.
now fixed and being used.
