Hi,
I've got a 2005 4520, and the tach and the fuel gauge needles get stuck against the back panel. The back panel meaning the plastic panel behind the gauges that is printed with symbols and tick marks and such for your gauge needles to point at.
The back panel has warped, presumably from sun, and the needles get stuck against it. A new instrument panel is almost $800 from the green paint store. I was thinking about cutting the adhesive between the clear plastic cover and the housing, gluing back down the display back panel, cleaning up the old adhesive, and re-adhering the clear cover.
Has anyone tried this or seen any information about doing this?
Thank you very much!
