Hi,

Tried this as a tag on another thread with no luck.

I've got a quote on a 4525 w/koyker loader of $15,700.

Don't care for the looks of the loader. Doesn't look stout enough for what I plan to use it for (lite gauge bucket and small cylinders) It is the skid steer bucket.

Can anyone tell me if this is ballpark on the price and if the loader is worth bringing to the house?

We have installed several in the past on gray-market Yanmars. I would MUCH rather have the factory Mahindra ML232 loader. The lift capacities on the factory unit are much greater and there are NO comparison on the quality. Plus, I have heard that Mahindra REALLY frowns on the use of Koykers on thier product. You could possibly encounter some warranty issues from Mahindra.

I would advise that you call one of our salesman and get a price on one with a factory Mahindra loader. I bet that you could buy one within a couple hundred dollars of what you have been quoted on one with a Koyker. ;)

Depends on the Koyker loader, they build some good stuff, but I prefer the OEM loader myself. I sent you a PM.

I don't know about that particular loader. I have a 4025 with the ML 230 loader and it is more than satisfactory. I paid 14k for mine including loaded tires. The price you are being quoted sounds pretty fair for the additional hp.
I expect you would be very satisfied with the 4525.
