46 Farmall m ticking sound from front of rear end/clutch

it has a ticking sound in all gears except 5th. I only have to push the clutch in about 1/2-1inch for the clicking noise to stop. the clutch pedal it self I feel is adjusted just fine in stoping the tractor if im in first gear and I throttle up the tractor the ticking will get faster. Also I herd other say don't no if this has anything to do with noise but on my farmall at the bottom of the transmission case same side as the break levers but on the very bottom on the round part their is a welded line ive herd a drive gear would gouge a hole in bottom of it anyone no anything bout that?

Sounds like the throw-out bearing is heading south.
