I think you will love it. A friend of mine in WV has had his 4608 for about a year. He uses it on steep ground often. Had no problems starting it this winter. He had problems with the power shifter (what Deere calls Power reverser) in that it would jerk and throw him and the implements violently. The dealer came out and tweaked something internal and adjusted the lurch out of the system. Others have complained about less than robust power steering, especially noted when heavy round bales were on the front end loader and the tractor was not moving. I hear MF is increasing the power steering boost somehow (not sure if it is bigger cylinder or what) in the later production runs. It looks to me like a nice tractor. I have a MF 2660 and strongly considered trading it for a 4610 until I finally got the major bugs out of mine. BY THE WAY, as delivered, my 2660 could not be held on a 40% grade with the brakes AND the engine starved for fuel even when I had 1/3 of a tank on that same 40% grade. Both were fixed. The brakes were changed to a 5 disk system instead of the original 4. The fuel pickup was changed to avoid starvation.
