I have a 4610 with a 7209 loader . The hyd from the loader valve are plumbed into the rear remote.
Does anyone know where I can get a mid mount valve and power beyond for this set up? So I can get better flow to my loader.
Thanks

The basic 4610 has a small pump so your loader will not have a lot speed because the pump flow determines the speed. There is a kit for an auxiliary pump that mounts on the left side of the engine and us driven of the flywheel I believe. That boosts the flow for faster loader actuation times. I run my 4610 loader off the remotes and just live with the slow speed.

Hydraulics:
Capacity: 6.15 gal [23.3 L]
Valves: 0 to 2
Total flow: 13.7 gpm [51.9 lpm]
19.1 gpm [72.3 lpm] (optional)

Seems like you should have fairly good flow to the FEL.

Total flow is 13.7 GPM, and steering uses some of that, so if steering uses 4 GPM, then you have 9.7 GPM for attachments.

There is an optional pump listed.

Are your hoses matched to the valve ports?

Are there any restrictors in the fittings.

You could also have a hyd shop do a flow and pressure check.

Then you will know for sure.

JJ, the steering pump is self-contained, so not part of the flow available to the loader. Jerry/MT is right on the second pump off of the engine left rear as a kit. It runs off of a gear mounted on the end of the cam, but if the gear was not installed originally, the tractor has to be split to add that as well.
An option that can be done is a crank mounted pump and auxiliary loader valve. A reservoir would have to be added. This option was available on the previous loader, 776, where the RH loader post served as the reservoir. This option was due to the low flow output of the single rear pump on the 4610.

Thanks for all the help . I was afraid the pump would be low on flow for a loader. I had a 3400 and it had a front mounted pump. I'm going to remove the access plate on the flywheel housing and see if the gear is there off the cam. If not then I will rig up a front mounted pump like my 3400 was. Sorry for the late reply been out of pocket for a couple weeks. Thanks again for all the info!
