When the dealer first dropped off my 7610 with a 4672 BH, the BH limiter rested snuggly on the lower 3ph links.

Now that I have taken the BH off and on a few times, the limiter sits about 1/8" - 1/4" above the lower links...they don't touch at all.

Is this normal or should they be touching? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Thanks.

I have the 4690, but you mean that the limiter bar is UNDER the lower arms, right?

It is a back up safety device from what I understand and does nothing if the top link bracket or pin holding the backhoe to it doesn't fail.

Mine has some clearance under the lower arms...

I consider it normal that there is some space beteen the limiter bar and the lower arms. Don't know if this is the right answer or not, but I comfortable with it in my case.

You certainly want the limiter bar to be below the lower arms though. VERY important that it is...

thanks Henro. The limiter is definitely under the lower links, so I guess I'm doing it right.

I've got BH installation down to 20 min so far /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I'd like to it get down to 5.
