47" Snowblower Driveshaft Replacement

   / 47" Snowblower Driveshaft Replacement #11
When the collar broke it allowed the shaft to slide through the bearing. That,s why it appears short.

Don't get confuse, I am not the one with the problem. The pics I place was to help the op identify his problem. The actual length of the shaft you see is the right length even with the broken collar.

I just tried removing my drive shaft to no avail.
Pin is out but that thing is solidly on the gear spindle.
Tried a bit of heat as well as a FORD tool.
Any ideas how to break it loose?

Ok, somewhat confusing here. First, are you and JJE64 one and the same?

Second, when you say drive shaft, are you talking about #7 in the diagram, if so that would be the ''small shaft sprocket''.

Third, do you know how those lock collar works? If you want to slide the sprocket shaft a bit, you will have to unlock the collars first. Pictures would also help.
