Can someone tell me if the gold adjustable arms (the ones that control the side to side motion of the arms) are supposed to have about a 20 degree bend in them? I looked at mine today after doing the arenas with a disk, and they are bent. They both are bent pretty much the same, but are they supposed to be that way?

Thanks.

....this may not help you, but I thought one of my arms was bent and the dealer replaced it and it turned out to be an optical illusion /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif My tractor was about to go out of warranty and I thought the lift-link looked "tweaked" and since I had never had my tractor in for maintenance, I think they just gave me the part to make me go away /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Anyway, these arms are pretty heavy steal and I think they would take an awful lot to bend......in my case, I was just being a nervous Nellie /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

The ones in question arent the lifting arms. Those would take a lot to get bent. These are the ones that come from the axle to the piece with all the holes that connect to the lifting arms, these allow you to adjust the side to side postion of the 3 point implements, or to lock it so an implement cant go side to side.

Hopefully you can post a pic of the arms that look bent.

Helllo

The ones on my 4610 are not bent, I would think bent ones would not slide in and out very easy.

good luck PeterT

Did some research, and found that I indeed bent the adjustment arms. I must have turned while the disk was in the ground, and put to much stress on them, wonder if being under warranty will cover that... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
