Sold the 4310 downsized to a JD 2320 - Purchased from K.C. Canary (HRT) in Fultonville, NY
Just thought I'd give a report on how things are going so far with 48 hours on her.
First everything has lived up to or exceeded my expectations... No oil consumption (engine), no loosening wheel lugs, haven't had to add any hydralic oil, only routine maintenance i.e. greasing! The 48BH is one mean digging attachment... many rocks and stumps removed so far without a problem. First time removing/replacing it took far more than the 5 minutes claimed by JD but with experience I'm sure I'll get close (it really does seem simple enough!) I am impressed with the lifting capacity of the 430 loader and boy do I love the 4in1 bucket... keep finding more and more uses for it... Loading and lifting rocks, logs/brush... pulling out brush and transporting same to brush pile, grading, leveling etc... it is great!
Items of note: If I don't install the "transport pins" in the back hoe dipper stick will slowly leak down... asked dealer about this and was told it is designed that way (slow leakdown is good for seals, hoses, and valves!)
Dealer recommends first oil change at 100 hours not 50... said in their experience engines breakin better and last longer running breakin oil longer.
When tractor was delivered the front and rear work lights (options) were not installed... brush guards on BO... dealer said they would come out and install at my place at my convience... they lived up to that promise!
Have purchased a MX5 rotary cutter since taking deliver of tractor... tractor power match is perfect (reason for removing the BH).
That's all for now... knock on wood... no problems of any kind!
I love this tractor!

Congrats, Got mine last week, 4310 w/430 and has 14 hrs so far. Already almost tipped it over (experimented not using the ballast box, BAD EXPERIMENT), and almost took down my barn with it (forgot to fold the FROPS), but man is it an awesome machine, glad I did my homework and spent the extra $ for a quality brand/machine. LoadMatch is better than expected. Can't believe what this thing can do. Can't wait to get the 48 BH too (next yr)! All the locals are lining up at the JD dealer after seeing it, maybe I should get a little commission!!??

Jim,

Glad to hear you're having no problems and enjoying the 4310. Likewise, I'm very satisfied with my 4710 and my dealer experiences with KC-Canary after purchase are comparable with yours. They came out to correct a couple of minor warranty items. Have had no problems since. Wish I had the cash to buy that backhoe. Guess I'll have to save up for this for a long term purchase.
