48 Mower deck ID Tag

Hi, the tag on my 48 mower deck is chipping off, and I was wanting to know if John Deere sells them, or if I could buy them from someone else that makes them. Any help is appreciated!!

You won't get a duplicate from Deere, I'm sure. Best record and maybe even etch the s/n into the deck for reference, before losing the "tag".

Okay, I got to thinking about it today, JD doest have the decals for this deck either! So I took pics and got measurements of everything to have decals made, including the tag.

A set of number stamps would be nice to have. Write the serial number down in the owners manual. My dad did this in 1973 when my 212 was new. Glad he did because the son does not take care of things very well.

I have them recorded, i think i'll go through with that plan^^^. The covers and rims possibly will be sandblasted today. Then on to the deck.

Umm someplace near where I live, I cant remeber the name of it. These are the decals and stuff, the triangle one on mine is junk, so I found this one today on a snowblower for a 318.
