4815 C Available

I was traveling through the Texas Panhandle today and decided to stop in at Panhandle Tractor. The owner, unfortunately I failed to get his name, was great! Anyone in that market would serve themselves well by doing business with them.

Anyway, he asked if I would like to see the distribution center for Branson. He took me on a tour and I was able to see all models in person. I have been looking mainly at the 20 & 25 series with cab because of health issues. I like the power of these but have not been able to justify, in my mind, the frame size for my small acreage.

The 15 series is more the correct size for my needs. The issue for me has been the cab models were only available in 35 and 40 hp. With turning a compressor and the amount of PTO work I do, the 48HP makes more sense.

Well, they now have a 4815C! I was able to get in the cab and it was a little tight. However, at 6'3" I was comfortable and able to work breaks and clutch with no issue. I did have to slide seat all the way back but certainly doable. I haven't found any information online about this new model so had no idea it was available. Now I am leaning heavily towards the 4815C.

What I don't know is if rear remotes are available and if only one or two sets. If not, I would have to study a little harder on a modification to add the remotes. I like having the hydraulic top link and tilt. Does anyone know anything about this model and how many remotes are available?

Thanks for letting us know of the existence of a cabbed version of the 4815.

Let's just say that Branson leaves much to be desired when it takes to updating their websites, both US and Global websites.

At 5'7", I had to pull the seat all the way forward and take a 2" spacer they used under the seat out to lower it a bit more.

Regarding the remotes, it can take up to 2 sets of remotes. Some tractors come standard with 1 set, while others won't come with remotes. From previous and older threads, several people confirmed that the price for a remote set is quite affordable, somewhere in the 400$ if recall correctly.

I would be surprised if you couldn't order the tractor with 2 rear remotes from your selling dealer.

well the Owner in question you were speaking to is Buster Jenkins, and he is just amazing, he is always willing to help and he is a good friend to us here at our dealership. as for the 4815C and the rear remotes they do not come with rear remotes on any 15 series model tractor unless you add them(which branson does make a rear remote kit for part # TA00042905A ) or have it ordered with a set installed on it when you go to purchase your tractor.

Thanks for sharing his name! He was great and he is a friend to y'all as he highly recommended I purchase from you. I will be doing just that once I make the final decision. Even though the 4815c makes more sense and most likely will be the choice I still really like the idea of a 5220c. I guess it is from my time on the farm but I like a bigger tractor. Who doesn't want to put in a garden with a 40 foot disk?:confused3:

As far as the remote hydraulics I'm not overly impressed with my factory ones on the 8050.
It has three with one having detents and two being spring centered.
I realize that I use mine different then many on here but if doing it over and they hadn't been standard,
I have been considering adding 2 more or changing out whats on her for two sets on joysticks.
With float on at least one maybe two and detents on one.
The joystick left/right action would be nice when using for remotes that are swing something left or right,
such as double hitch rakes, hydro swing mowers and even rear blades to move materials left or right.
I may do so one of these days it's just that it would be several hundred just to make it a bit nicer.

The ones on my 3725 are not bad. No detent or float available. The Rube Goldberg linkage to the valves at the back of the transmission could be tightened up but I can feather the valves as needed.

the 15 series is different from all of those though so the valves will probably be different.

I added a 3 spool valve for the remotes on my Kioti and 2 are joystick. I have that controlling the top link and right side link. The third spool controls a left side link. So I set the height with the left link, forward and back on joystick moves top link and left and right on joystick adjust level. Works great! Top link has float as well.

The rear remotes on my 4720ch are really disappointing too because of the linkage. I don't know if it just my tractor, but they are hard to push, and almost impossible to feather or find center. I'd love to try something else. I'm not sure what I could do different. though.
