4940C Montana with hoe

This is a 4940C with a hoe I put a manual thumb on. This hoe is used by the Kalispell School district. It is used at 12 school locations and they have it set up. Kalispell is building a new high school and after they use the hoe for much of that work they will use thr tractor with a 15' batwing mower and other landscaping and maintenance work. I loved this tractor set up.

This picture shows the 36" bucket for lighter material. They also got an 18" heavy duty bucket for harder ground work.

I could not tell from the pictures. Is that backhoe attachment hooked up to the three point hitch or does it have a sub frame going under the tractor ?

Subframe. They use this backhoe a lot. In fact the day I delivered they had a water line break at one of the junior high schools and used it straight away. The subframe is nice and easy to mount and dismount.

They are very happy with it. They have had the tractor now for about 5 months and it is used daily.

Remind them to remove the loader manual from the from right bucket cylinder, They might want to read it someday. hehehehe!

Good eye. We pull all the manuals out of them on receiving them. We do leave the cylinder on the tractor. When we deliver the tractors we have a package we give to customer including tractor, loader, any implement manuals as well as invoices etc.

We spend lots of time going over operation, safety, general maintenance etc. and ask them (new owners) to please make sure to read all manuals. In this case I am sure they have as the man who is in charge of the maintenance department and is the man in charge of this tractor is very, very attentive to details.
