Have had mine for 3 years now and all is good. I have approx. 400 hrs on it now doing snow removal, bush hogging, tilling, grading and anything else thats required on a small hobby farm. It has held up very well. Just done maintenance on it and it runs great. I have never regretted the purchase. It was a lot less expensive than the big brands and probably alot tougher than most especially the Deere compacts.
Mines not an HST it has a shuttle shift instead, but I have only had one problem and that was an oil seal on the front drive shaft but thats it. I really like it, but I don't know about an HST. LS (aka LG) has been making tractors for a long time they should have it down pretty well by now, but anything can and will break once in a while. If you are worried about getting parts, don't any LS tractor dealer can get them for you they are the same tractors. Just my 2 cents.
