I asked this over on the attachments thread but haven't yet posted here and don't want to be left out of the ePowrReverser club :) so......

I bit the bullet (BIG bullet) and bought a 4310 stick w/ reverser yesterday to replace my old TO20 Ferguson. Thought I'd get it today but a once available 4in1 bucket was sold and now they're looking. Question though is - It seems added controls for grapples and 4in1's are placed on the right next to the FEL control. I'd think on the left would give easier two hand operation. Am I missing something?

Thanks

Joel

I agree, though some issues might be: 1) the hoses are on the other side, 2) locating the lever so it isn't in the way when you are getting on/off tractor.

I wish I had gotten a Fasse valve or whatever I need to put it all on one stick. If I had to do it again that's what I would do.

I have a 4n1 on a JD 4410, and your right, the control for the jaws is on the right. But I haven't found it to be a problem. You can move your right hand pretty quickly between the FEL controls and the 4n1 jaw controls so it won't be an issue. You'll find that you pretty much are either opening/closing the jaws or moving the loader up/down in sequence but not at the same time very much.
