3550 Fard Backhoe and a 1948 Farmall Cub,
Ive been wanting a 4in1 bucket on my loader ever since I got my skid steers an d even since I was a kid after using one on a 645 Allis Chalmers loader. I had thought of building one for a few years but time never was there. I was on Craigs list and happened to see one for sale in Olive Branch about 110 miles away. I called and the man told me he wanted 625.00 for it. I told him sold. Amy and I picked it up this morning, Its like new except the couple had been butchered on to make it fot an older loader. I checked it over not warped, still got paint on the inside of the bucket, pins are all tight and the apron and mold board arent warped.

Yep to think of it the last good buy in a set of implements Was a 6 foot woods landscape rake, and a 6 foot Monroe Tuffline flip up disk a man had forsale after fixing his yard for 60 bucks each. Ive bought a few buys like that.

You got a good buy!

Does it have teeth, if not, consider investing in a tooth bar. I have had loads of fun moving dirt with mine. (pun intended)

It doesnt have a bar, just a smooth edge. The edge is worn a little one sided about a half inch. That could have been anything from an offset mount to a low tire on the machine. It has holes for teeth, I have some new teeth off a bush hog loader that were never put on that the teeth look like they will line up. I have a small case grading bucket I salvaged and repaired the bottom for smooth edge work and also rerurbishing a BC grader attachment. From the first time I ran a 4in 1 back when I was a kid I knew they were a great thing to have.

Pictures later tonight, I still cant believe it. I sat figuring how to remount the brackets he had hacked together. I want it to fitr like a factory bucket so when the bucket is flat the arms of the loader will be against the frame push blocks. If its not it will cause extra wear and breakage of the loader arms on the Case. There will be a fine line on how the dozer blade will go into the ground. I think I will get about 2 inches of depth with the bucket curl.

FOr heavy digging I have the regular dirt bucket. It will all work out I just gotta get that extra crap burnt off lol.
