4th Qtr. 2010 price for 3038E, RC & BB

We just pulled the trigger on a package deal today. A 3038E w/305 FEL, a Frontier RC2060 for $19,940 w/ 60 mo. 0% financing w/10% down.

Breakdown of pricing was $17,500 for the 3038E w/ FEL, $1650 for the 5' Rotary Cutter & $790 for the 5' Boxblade. We were budgetting for about $20K, so this filled the bill pretty well.

Not familiar with the cutter, does it have a slip clutch? If not I think I would add that in for sure. Hope you like your new tractor and we want pics.

According to the sales person, this one does.

When I was looking up the data on the model, it appears there may be 2 versions - with & w/out the slip clutch (hitch info on the JD site said "Shear bolt or slip clutch "). I'll double check before delivery to make sure I get what was being pitched/priced.

Should have pics by the middle of the coming week.

Signed the final papers today & did the pre-delivery inspection/familiarization. PTO shaft for the cutter has a flat plate slip clutch. Sales guy said it was pre-adjusted to match the 3038E PTO spec.

Everything should be delivered tomorrow!
