I too would guess a ground issue.

Not knowing the circumtances, but it astounds me that anyone could think a machine works one day, not the next and then consider mixed up wiring. Believe me, I have seen it. People switching wires and terminals around, thinking that may do the trick. Makes it much more fun for the person having to repair it in the end.

Hi, i have a 5820 with similar issues: brake lights don’t work, 4wd is constantly on (atleast the light). I did replace brake light switch but nothing changed. Also checked fuses. There is also 8v at the solenoid connector.
I hope you fixed yours.

We must bear in mind there are circuit boards in play, hence the eight volts. And also do we know the operating voltage of the solenoids, for a fact? These machines were not built simply
