Oil & Fuel 4X20 Fuel Injector PIP Issue

4520 that just underwent the Pump Spring "PIP". The tractor seems to still have normal HP but the following has changed. 1: Idle now at 1200-1300 instead of 950; 2: on every throttle increase I get a large puff of black smoke. Even no load increases. This happens hot, cold and in between. Still does the smoke at startup. 3: Note on Service tag bothers me a wee bit "Literature in PIP packet and training video is not correct. Had to figure out the right way to install injection pump"

Any similar results? Comments? Quotes from DTAC?

Your injector timing is set a little to advanced. I would not complain at all about it. Setting the timing foward increases fuel to the turbo which increases Boost which makes more HP. They ( the dealer) had done this to mine to correct a low HP and tourque problem I had. When they did the PIP JD came out with new spec's on setting the timing.Now my 4320 won't carry a load up my driveway ( and even itself) in any range but A. When they had advance the timing before it would climb it in C range without breaking a sweat. I'm aguing with the dealer to set it back but they don't want to.
