5' Country Line Tiller $1260 !!!

Tiller at the local TSC $1399.99. Had my eye on it for weeks thinking all along the price may be a mistake as the TSC internet price is $1699.99 on the same tiller! Saw it on a friends trailer last week and I'm thinking "Dang (or something) missed my chance". Received a 10% coupon from TSC this week and now I'm really feeling the pain as I know they only had the one and knowing the next one in will be several hundred more! Just for kicks I call the store from work this morning and whoa---lady tells me they have another! I'm there soon after I get off with my own trailer knowing I'm missing something and not knowing what it is. I didnt miss anything! $1399.99 and with my 10% off, $1259.99---SWEET! Been reading a lot on this site and I'm thinking I had a very good day. Making it sweeter the cashier rang it up on a 6 month no interest promo plan. I had borrowed one twice and loved looking at what it could do with the ground. I refuse to borrow anything I need or want a third time as thats a good indication its time to get my own if I can swing it. Today's deal helped! Just wanted to share and say Be patient-- what you want is out there and thanks to all who take the time to post so much great info. :thumbsup:

CONGRATS!!!! I'd love to get a PTO driven tiller one day. But my disks will have to do for now and besides, they've always done a good job for me for what I do.

Where's the pictures of your new "toy", I mean tool?

I priced 1 eary last month was told 1229 for the 48" was told it would be special order. After making up my mind as to what I was going to do, since the New Holland Dealer wanted 1850 for a 52". I went back 2 days later and guess what, it's now 1399 for the 48".
So next week since the weather is starting break alittle I'll order one, I also have a 10% off coupon.
Glad to see you got 1 at the reduced price.

The wording on those used to mean they would only give 10% discount on up to $1000, or $100 discount maximum.

Sorry..... thats what i meant, $100 max. Just wondering if they are all that way, or if some areas give 10% off the total purchase, even if it's over the $1000.

Mine states 10% off entire purchase of $50 or more. No Limit to savings

I just picked up mail lastnight in TX the ones came like a pamphlet and have 15% off entire purchase 2nd-13th No limit not good on Husqvarna cubcadet or badboy items no special order or online parts store, online enter "March15" coupon required for discount. I will drive by tommorow and see what they got for me

The guys at TSC are pretty easy to deal with if you talk to a manager. I bought a 5' county line tiller last year for $1100 and they threw in some gear oil because it comes dry. Just about any purchase I have bought from there, they have been willing to work with me on the price. Give it a try, you don't need coupons.
