Ok, here is a question, has anyone used or use regularly a 5 foot (King Cutter for example) rotary cutter (brush hog). I have been looking to buy one and the thing is that I am not sure that a 5 foot is too big for the 2410. Since I now have both a BX and a 2410 a 4 footer makes some since since it could be used on either tractor but with 4 acres of field to cut maybe the 5 footer on the 2410 for the field and the BX to mow the 2 acre lawn area. (ever consider that I now have a 46 horsepower 120 inch mowing deck!!!!! and that my tractors have a near 100 inch bucket and I can pull a 8 foot boxblade and have 8WD and weigh stripped 2800 lbs--how many tractors is it reasonable to own? /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif )
Sooooo, has anyone actually used their 2410 for hogging with a 5 foot rotary cutter or do you just ride around look'n purty worry'n about what kinda oil to use and if boxblades are satanic devices /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif ?
Weight of the King Cutter 5 foot is 521 lbs and the 4 foot is 420 lbs. More than weight I also wonder if there is enough power to operate the 5 foot. Also, slip clutch or shear pin??
