What is the difference in price.
Doing the 50 hour service myself, and having the dealer do it?
I知 good to support my local dealer if it痴 not a big difference.
Thanks

On the dealer, you have to pay the labor, shop supplies and all that stuff.

At home, you learn a bit more of your tractor and you what exactly has been done during the service.

Not saying you dealer is bad, but we all know how some dealers are. Specially automotive ones. They tend to skip on some things and won't always care for your stuff like you would.

If you buy the filters and oil from them, you're all supporting your dealer.

so here is how it would break down if you had the service done at our shop with our labor rate of $85.00 per hour and what all we do in that service.
Engine oil and filter are changed
Transmission oil and Filter(s)( your trans will have two filters because of the hydrostatic function.
Front Axle Gear Oil
Greasing the tractor and tightening all nut & bolts to factory specs, and a 25 point inspection to look for any abnormalities that may be present.
the total cost to have that done with us runs around 492.00 + Tax if applicable.

Does the 5220 have the screen in the case to be pulled and cleaned?
