Changing the oils and filters[mines a gear drive] was easy as could be.
Air filter is easy to check clean,raditiator screens are easy to take out when you need to clean and blow out raditiator.

Only thing I ain't done is fuel filter,anybody change theirs and got any pointers on that? do you need to do any special air purging?
================
The fuel filter is not bad at all to change and can easily be cross referenced and purchased locally. I purchased mine from my dealer and is not expensive anyway so you might as well do the same when you purchase the rest of your Kioti filters.

Make sure you locate the section in your manual specific to changing filters (12-12)and then locate a separate section (12-27)for bleeding air from fuelline. I have listed the sections according to my CK-20 manual but some manuals are different.

Basically,remove the glass bowl on rear of tractor with filter and discard old while replacing with new. I had a bit of trouble with mine wanting to leak very slightly because I was afraid to tighten the fuel bowl enough because it is glass. I stuck with it however and kept slightly tightening as I discovered the slight leakage until it stopped. The glass vial was washed with kerosene before reinstalling with new filter.

Bleeding the line is both simple and quick to accomplish. Read your owners manual and back off the appropriate pump bolt as indicated by manual and then tighten again as it starts to bleed fuel when someone turns engine over for you. This stops any further air from entering system while purging existing.

I would recommend this drill to everybody because if you ever run yourself out of fuel you will need to repeat this bleed process or pay somebody to do it for you. If you are going to own a diesel tractor it makes sense to know how to tend to such things.

Thanks,ck 20 might be different than ck30?,,anybody with a ck25-30-35 want to give the procedure they used for changing the fuel filter?

Course I will read manual,but its good to hear from those that have already done it. Maybe I should start new thread,or if somebody wants to tell us exactlly how,they could start it,don't think I've read much about that on a ck25-30-35 kioti.

I have a CK 25,gear fuel filter is very easy to change,just watch out for the spring in the bottom of the fuel bowl,and I suggest you change the rubber "O" ring,located at the top of the bowl...other than that rimshot said it all. Just follow the directions in your manual..:)

Ok than,bolt needs to be loosened while somebody cranks it over to purge.

Anybody else got anything to add?

I remember doing my 50 hr service... I enjoyed getting under the tractor and checking everything out. One thing I will not forget is the seven + gallons of HYD fluid with one empty five gallon pail. That pail filled up so fast and laying on my back trying to get the second one in place...Well Me and the barn floor got water proofed that day. :eek::eek:
