I am about to perform the 50 hour service on my T293 and had a few questions because the owner's manual ... ummm ... sucks. First the manual shows a single engine oil drain plug but there are two bolt heads, one on each side of the drive shaft. From a separate thread here, I now know that these two are the drain plugs. OK. Easy enough.
Now the only remaining question is: Where is the strainer that the manual describes when talking about the Hydraulic/Trans fluid?
The manual states
1) to loosen the hose clamp and pull off the hose.
2) Remove the bolt
3) Pull out strainer
4) Clean and replace.
Which hose clamp? Where is this hose and bolt. All I see near the hydraulic fluid drain is a rubber hose with a 90 degree bend in it with 2 bolts attached to a plate connected to the hose.
Anyone have a T293 service manual in PDF form that they do not mind sharing?
