5000 series 60\" deck blades

Does anyone have a second source for the blades for the 60" MMM on the 5000 series. I ordered a set from the dealer twice, with no success. I can get the part number if that helps.

I've only had this deck off once to clean and sharpen blades, it's a lot tougher to get back on than off, anyone else have that problem and a solution?

Has anyone bought the front blower for a 5000 series?

Hi Check out this site..I've bought a bunch of blades from them. they even have "Gator mulching blades" at a great price.

I have had my 5234D for well over a year now and I have yet to find an easy solution to getting the 60" MMM deck back on the tractor. I remove and reinstall quite a bit and it's always a pain.

I want to get the FEL with a toothbar but I am really thinking about getting another 5000 series (probably just a 5252, could probably pick one up for around $6000, I already have the MMM) just to mow with and put the FEL on my 5234D so I won't have to screw around with the MMM. I know you can leave the MMM attached with a FEL but I don't want to do loader work with a MMM attached. There is a Cub Cadet kit to pin the MMM in the raised position, I have it but it's still not high enough.

Thats sort of my scenario, I have a older Ford 1220 with a FEL and I use numerous 3 Pt attachments with it.. I've just used the 5252 to mow, it is an excellant moving machine, a real pleasure to operate.

It's a little comfort to know I'm not the only guy tha needs to use the "plumbing language" whenever I remove/replace the deck!

www.mfgrsupply.com.

They matched the blades on my Cub/Woods deck perfectly. Save about $50+ per blade. If I remember the Cub price was $60-$65 per blade. Mfg Supply was something like $11 each and they are identical. Worth a look?
