5035 banging bush hog blades

They are going to bang together every now and then. The blades are the same height, swivel, and are long enough to hit each other. All the requirements for the blades banging together are there. A soft start with a PTO clutch lessens this. Rapid PTO starts are going going cause blade banging.

I agree they will all do it. I've sheered my share of pins in the past engaging too fast. I think Mahindra has a pto output clutch or something to help because of the all or none engagement. Kind of like the slip clutch on a bush hog if I was reading it right.
