I wouldn't own a tractor with a loader with out the powerreverser transmission. Our 1986 Ford 555B has one, as well as our John Deere 5320 never really had an issue with the transmission. Had an issue with the park paw on the 5320 but they changed the design after they stopped producing the 5320.
Our 5320 is abused with what we pull with it too! 12ft disks it struggles at full cut, but works okay as well as a New Holland 570 baler with 9x18 thrower wagon. Baler is too big for the tractor, never mind add the additional weight of the wagon full of hay up hill!
I find sometimes that even the 12 speed doesn't have enough gearing. raking and tedding usually run b4 if rough or c1, wish there was a speed between c1 and c2. Baling we usually run B-3, or B-4 depending crop conditions but i would like to go faster but not in the C1 range.
