I have a 5075E, which is about the same thing. Got it new in late September.

I love it. Fits perfectly for what I was wanting and those E series tractors from JD have a very good reliability record (barring some reported hydraulic issues from some members here)

It sort of depends on whether it's new, or a little older. There have been a number of problems with overheating hydraulics melting fuel tanks (and other parts) in a variety of the 50XXE models. It's hard to say how many machines are involved, but there are threads all over the internet that reference at least a decent number of individual machines with problems. We have a 5045E (which is the same tractor as the 5065E but with less power) and have had a couple hydraulic issues with it. The 3pt valve has been out of adjustment since new and it has had trouble with the hydraulic system overheating as mentioned in the link above. The tractor itself is of an excellent design, one that has been basically unchanged since the release of the 5000 series in '93. The problem is Deere's Quality control is not what it should be. Our 2550 Deere was made in Germany/France, the 5E series was made in India/China/Mexico, a lot has changed in the past 20-30yrs.
