5065e fuel tank sending unit gasket leakage

I noticed some fuel has been seeping out around the gas tank penetration for the level switch. There are 5 Phillips screws on flange. Dealer is sending me new gasket. I assume you disconnect wires, remove unit through hole, replace gasket over level float and position gasket under flange and snug up screws? Anyone done this? Don't have ability to take to dealer and seems like a simple repair. Tractor still under warranty. Any unusual knowledge would be appreciated.

Have you tried just snugging up the five screws?

From seeing the parts on jdparts.com, looks straight forward.

Where was your tractor assembled?

Yes, snugged up today but would need to fill tank to test. Tank level was about midway between bottom and top of flange. Thought about filling up tomorrow and cutting some grass. Could not hurt. Other option is to replace gasket first. Tractor made in India. I believe some final assembly like tires/wheels in Augusta but I am not sure about that.

Your choice, but if the screws were receptive to some tightening, then I'd for sure give it a test.
If all were snug already, then I'd figure a damaged gasket and make the change.
