Ok, I managed to remove the 509 BH (no problems) and reinstall (frustrating)
I have the 509/511 operators manual and parts manual but nowhere does it have any instructions for removeing or installing.
The FEL manual gives great instructions for that.
Im I missing somthing in the manual dept. or isnt there anything printed by Mahindra?
(My dealer did give some verbal instructions on delevery last year.)

There is a third manual called the 3510 & 4110 tractors mounting instructions for Mahindra Backhoes. That manual is the complete installation of the hoe to the tractor, including backing the tractor up to the hoe and hitching it up.

I have all the Dayco Mahindra hoe manuals from the 3265 to the 511, and the mounting instructions for all the 10 and 00 series.

I found them on Ebay.

Check with your dealer to see if you can get that one , and If not let me know and I will photo copy the pages that cover what you want and send them to you.

Thanks for the info Dave, I figured there was a BH install manual but I didnt get that one with the others the dealer gave at delivery.
Next time I see the dealer I'll ask him if he has one for me or can order one.
I like having as many manuals as possible, good reading!

I just installed a backhoe on a 4110 yesterday, it was a real job putting on those to seperate lower mounting arms, they are 1" thick !
I will post pictures later on, its raining outside,& my machine doesnt know what that is

The manual I am referring to is a complete install manual including the subframes and hydraulics . It looks like a manual for the dealer and is about the same size as the operators manual. It shows installing the Hoe off a shipping pallet and goes step by step, but it would apply to any time you install or remove a hoe.

I didn't get one when I bought my BH either. I got the operators and parts manual like you did. It looks like Mahindra has it in the wrong manual, or at least needs to duplicate it in the operators manual.

Or there expecting the dealer will pass that manual on to the owner and some are not.

Good Luck ,

When I bought my 4110 w/BH I asked my dealer up front if I could have the loader braces/hardware and hyd. hose that is removed when installing the BH.
Just in case I would ever want to part with the BH but keep the tractor, I wouldnt have to search around somewhere or order them.
He had no problem with that at all. Good Dealer!

I just did the same thing. I was wanting to keep them in case I ever got rid of it, which I wont, and also there is a lot of weight there. Still trying to find a place I could bolt them for more weight. Not to mention quality metal which isn't cheap these days.
