I did my 600 hour service yesterday and found a huge amount of pressure built up in my front axle(sprayed everywhere when fill plug removed). Figured the vent must be plugged but all I found was a rubber plug in place of a vent on the top front of the diff.
Anyone know if these tractors are supposed to have a real vent? Don't want to have seals blow if they forgot to install a vent at the factory. This rubber plug could possibly be a rather ineffective vent, I didn't try to pull it out and look at it. Thanks.
