Kioti DK45S Cab, Quicktach FEL
I just finished the 50hr service on the DK45S Cab. So far it has exceeded my expectation. I have cleaned the barn out, raked hay and did some small square baling with it.

The A/C was nice. Not as cold as my Deere, but I didn't have a problem keeping cool. The tractor and rake will fit on my 20ft trailer making it nice going to those long distance hay fields. I love the ease of hooking up the 3 point hitch.

It is easy on the fuel as well. Here are a couple of pics of it working. I wish I would of taken more, but this hay season has been a challenge to beat the rain. :D

Just had a 500 hr service on mine. Actually at 548 hours... a little late I know but...

Tractor is worker great. Used the BH for about 4 hours the other day doing more trenching in the pasture.

AC could be a bit better. I find if I shut a few air vents in the cab it helps - use only the ones I need to be directly on me.

Cheers...

Nice to hear from another DK45S Cab owner. It has been a very handy tractor. It has had plenty of power for the chores on the farm. I am not sorry for getting the cab. I have not had any trouble finding someone to rake hay.:D

Next cutting I will give you a call. Always lookin for good help!:D

We had a hay making marithon the first week in July.:D We had 7 days of dry weather forcasted so we mowed 30 acres of hay.:) I was running out of small squares. We hadn't had dry weather since Memorial Day.:( We baled 1500 small square and finished with 15 round bales. 10 acres was a month over due for first cut and the rest was second cut. There has been alot of hay ruined in our area from the wet weather. One field is 17 miles away so being able to haul the Kioti and it being able to have enough power for the baler was an advantage this year.
Fuel savings has been a positive. The 4430 mowing hay will use close to 5 gallon an hour. The Kioti raking will use 1.5 gallon and baling around 2.5. I also used it moving round bales off the field first cutting. I moved around 40 bales. It has been a definite fuel saver and at $2.55 a gallon it is giving some payback.
I need to take more pictures next cutting of hay. I fertilized it after last cut and it is ready to go again but I just looked at the forcast and next week there is a chance of rain everyday.

I don't have any trouble keeping cool in mine. If anything the AC is too much when you're soaked with sweat and get back into a cab that's 30 degrees colder than the outside
Hoosier I hope your next 50 hours are trouble free

More pics. I will add more later as I still have a few more acres to go. I will try to get some baling pics next time.:D It fits the trailer perfect with the rake attached. It has become handy for those distant fields.
