Operational Weight vs Lifting Capacity: These ratings can be confusing but can easily be explained. For legal reasons the manufacturers cannot advertise the actual lifting capacities as the rated load because different terrain and conditions can alter your machines balance point. Because of this, skid steer loaders are derated. The general rule of thumb is the lifting capacity times 210% for the actual machine capacity.

The claim the have the most digging force in its class. Do you know what class they mean?

Here is a photo of my 511 lifting, along with the loader, my 6520. Total weight is 11,300 pounds. FYI........the 511's stabilizers with the 6520 (11.2 gpm hydraulic pump) at full RPMs will not lift the rear tires off the ground. Like JRLogon said.........with the boom extended it won't lift much. But right at the tractor it will push up a lot of weight.
With a 24 inch wide bucket on it and full of wet clay and fully extended, it won't lift it out of a gully. You have to retract the dipper stick (as in drag it up the bank) a few feet to get the advantage to lift it high enough to dump on a dirt pile.
